Who's this Tim Vandehey?

Freelancium Bug 3.png

I wonder that myself sometimes. Who am I to be telling freelance writers what to do and how to do it? Well, I've been a freelancer since 1995, so I guess I have some cred. I've been ghostwriting books since 2004, and as you read this I've written about 65 of them. I've won awards, had New York Times bestsellers, been lucky enough to work with some incredible people, and made a great living.

So, yeah. I think I know the potential of a freelance writing career, and I think that knowledge is worth sharing.

But, a little more background. I'm a native Southern Californian with a degree from Cal State Fullerton, but these days I hang my hat in Kansas City. MO. I'm a baseball and jazz fanatic, a jazz and blues singer, a middling harmonica player, a sailor, a world traveler, a hiker, an aspiring carpenter, and a madly-in-love husband and dad.
